Sorry you disagree, but if you pay to have the tractor's system hydraulic pump replaced you will soon see that a PTO pump is a much better idea. My fiance's father had the same idea as you, until he ruined 2 pumps on his 1755 Oliver. Then he smartened up and put on a PTO pump and auxillary valve. Now he can do loader work faster and doesn't have to worry about tearing up another $500 pump that takes $400 labor to replace. And as for tying up the PTO:
