Do as Greg D,has told you....If you find that the starter is still not getting juice and you need the tractor"NOW"....You said that sparks was coming off the soleniod.....Here is a way to crossover the soleniod to start engine,until you get a new one...Make sure the tractor is not in any gear.......neutral! ! !......set the gas lerver and choke where you would to start the engine normaly.......turn on the switch......now get yourself a heavy (LARGE) pair of pliers.Open them up and touch the handle ends across the soleniod on to the heavy cable nuts......there will be some sparks and the pliers will get warm...any thing smaller will burn your hands......engine should turn over and start........
