I'm think of building my own shop heater. I currently use a 110,000 BTU kero topedo heater and it does good but noisy and like has been said, fire and fumes don't mix to well. What I'm thinking of doing is makeing a out side firebox and having a heat tube of somekind with a blower on it to force the hot air into the shop area. This is just something I am thinking of and in now way assume any responsibility in the theory here if anyone should do the same, gotta cover your butt!!! I think it will work as I have seen them for sale by a company somewhere, can't remember where it was made? Just some thoughts
