cost to bale hay

My neighbor asked me yesterday if i would be interested in doing hay for him next year. He has 8 acres for his horses. The last few years the guy that has did it for him has chopped first crop for himself, gave the owner 2nd, taken 3rd, and if he had time would make 4th for the owner. The owner thinks he may be getting taken. So, my question for all of you is how much to charge? He said we can do it either on shares or he will pay me to do it. what share, 50/50.Or how much a bale, is $.75 fair or to low. I really appreciate you help.
