A do several different splits: alfalfa or fertilized grass hay I'll do 50/50. 60/40 otherwise (60 to the guy doing the harvest). Landlords 1/2 on the ground in the field or I'll pull their wagon with their help to load their 1/2. If I can dump a bale wagon I'll put it in the barn (squares). Rolls in the field. Square bales $1.25 per bale cut rake and bale, I'll pull his wagon, he has to shuttle wagons and pay the help or I'll run a bale wagon for $1.50 if he has a place I can dump the stack. One of my neighbors cuts alfalfa 50/50 and then buys the landlords share for 2.50 per bale.
