kingpin torque

I need some tech help here. I am trying to calculate the torque necessary to steer a tractor I am building. I wonder if anyone out there has ever done calculations to figure out the torque required to steer a tire around the kingpin. I am figuring the coefificient of friction of the tire on cement and the length of the radius arm and the distance from the center of the wheel to the kingpin? Any help out there? Joe
