Well Sam I disagree. We farm 8 little parcels of land 35 to 60 acres each for some elderly neighbors. The township tried to rezone them. With the prices of crops these days we do not want to keep farming these small farms. However if we do quite the old neighbors will get rezoned to R1 from AG.They will still own the land but taxes will go up.How can people 75 and 80 years old pay that kind of increase. They will have to sell. This is wrong these people worked their whole life for that land.I do not know how many on this site are farmers or collectors, but if the farmers could hold out for a year or two not selling crops, produce, livestock, dairy and poultry products. That would open up a few eyes maybe.Maybe a strike is in order heck the cityslickers go on strike all the time.Someone mentioned well water they dump raw sewage in the great lakes up here no fines. My 2 cents Plowin
