JD builds some good equipment, The 5000 series
are not it. The JD 6000 series are good if you can afford it. As far as the NH tractors go the
TN series are NH's equal to the JD 5000. NH is
building junk also. If you're looking at a new
tractor. I would look at the McCormick CX series
(same tractor as Case IH CX series) The new CASE
IH tractors are NH (Fiat design). And the MF 4300
series tractors, JD 6000 series, and the Valtra tractor line. All 4 of these seem to be good quality.
