Wasn't too long ago a poster was saying the state he lives in was unloading all their 5000 series deeres because of the huge amount of problems they are haveing with them. They had more repair $$ into the 5000's than they did any other deere's they had ever owned, and were switching brands!! I read about so many unhappy JD owners these days that i thank my lucky stars all the time. I "almost" bought one last time i bought new, but i just felt they were too lightly built and over priced!! I'm so glad i listened to my gut feeling!! Robert

Memories of an IH Super A When I was ? up to 10, I worked on my Papaw's farm in Greeneville, TN every summer. As I grew older (7), it was the thrill of my day to ride or drive on the tractor.
