I have a 540 Cockshutt with the Zenith Carb #68j8 on the continental engine. The float setting is 1 5/32 according to my manual. Looks like 1" and 5/32" but this can't be. It must mean 5/32". This is the same setting for the 267j8 and the 267jx9 which is for the Hercules engines 4 &6 cyl's. Don't know if this helps or not, I hope so.
