as a beekeeper i'm sensitive to people calling hornets/wasp, bees. i guess if it stings,, its a bee. the incorrectness is taught to our children through cartoons and even a cereal advertisment that depects a paper hornets nest handing from a tree limb. bees don't build homes hanging from limbs, they build inside a hollow. anyway on the killer bees, the african species is more aggressive and more hardey. for the most part that means they will sting with less provoking, more of the colony will protect/sting and they will defend the colony for a longer time duration than the bees we are use to in the united states. they don't fly around looking for trouble. buy American honey
