What's a Safe Way To Jack Up a Tractor?

I have a 1963 JD 1010 wide front tractor. I want to replace both of the front tires. What is the safest way to jack up the front? I have a 5 ton hydraulic jack. Should it be jacked up in the center and raise the entire front of the tractor, or should I do one wheel at a time and jack it up by each wheel (like you would do if changing a tire on a car). I would like to lower it down on to some type of blocks for a day or two while I get the new tires. Should the block be wooden or can I use cement blocks? Thanks in advance for your recommendations.
