Dan, you can block it up with anything that it doesn't crush, cement blocks are okay if you are blocking on a level concrete floor but could tip and let the tractor fall on some soil. Get tractor to a place where you have solid footing, lock the brakes, block under the axel and put a piece of board on top if you want to not scuff the paint.
