Mike as others have said, clean the point where ground wire is attached to trailer frame, also clean rust and crud from ball and trailer coupler. Run a temperary jumper wire from trailer to tow vehicle(you can use jumper cable for this)this will tell you if your ground connection is bad. I keep my trailer ball and coupler clean and lite film of grease on both. Keith & Shawn
