setting up a garden

I've recently purchased 28 acres this summer i am interested in setting up about an acre for gardening also i want to grow some melons . I have a 53 jubilee, I'm wondering what all implements i need to look for. And what order do you use each impliment.implements i am in question of are 2 bottem plow,cultivater,farrow, disc, planter, tiller etc... I would like to do it like they did it in1953 I no dearborn, and ferguson made a lot of these impliments. What will i need to cut hay on about 20 acres and can a 53jubilee be made to pick up a round bale. sorry so long but my 6 children will thank you next spring
