Tom, since you are going through all of the work for the steering shaft bushings, have you checked the axle bushings? They also have a grease fitting on the bottom of the axle that most often seems not to get greased on older tractors. If there is much play between the axle and the bolster you probobly should replace the bushings and re-shim there as well. Good look and let us know how it goes.
