Your commerical so you have to do DOT rules.

Colorado also answers this by saying "if your carrying 5000lbs on a 30000lb GVWR truck it's commerical as they go by mfg stated GVWR"

Since your commerical I would call your local DOT enforcement officer and get the straight poopie scoppy.

Doesn't air brakes also have a class A CDL with air brakes endorsement? Or can you get a class B with airbrake endorsement?
