The CDL endorsements are: T Double/Triple P Passenger N Tank H HazMat X N and H Combined Airbrake is not an endorsement. The airbrake section is part of the basic class A/B license. If you choose not to take the written airbrake test and/or you do your driving test in a non-airbrake vehicle you will recieve a class A/B with a "non-airbrake" restriction. Keep in mind theres also such thing as a class C CDL and A/B/C Non CDLs as well. After 1992 the CDL rules are supposed to be standardized in all states. My own license is a Class A M-CDL with T&X endorsements. I almost got it all...I just lack that pesky li'l P.
