Hello, first off,im only 16,but im just checkin this stuff out for my dad,he used to drive fork lifts, bob cats, ect in a steel mill, for 30 years,he retired, and the whole family moved to Ar. he has 10 acres that him and my mom bought 8 years ago, thier going to biuld a house on it,with a big garden ect. so what size tractor would he need to be able to bush hog it in a reasonable amount of time,it also need a loader to do some landscaping, and theres a bunch of trees along one side that were tore down and left there, needs to be able to push/drag them into a pile to burn them,he doesnt want to spend over $3,000,doesnt matter if its old or not, just need more info,we know nothing about tractors, but work on cars alot,so should be able to takle anything on a tractor,so would it be possible to puchase a good used tractor with loader for $3,000,weve been lookin around at these local dealer, and in the paper ect. but know absolutly nothing about them,so could you give us some pionter ion what to look for, thanks
