tractor runs but won't move

I recently was given a small mitsubushi 2 cyl. diesel tractor model MT372. The tractor has been setting for several years. I have gotten the engine running, but when I put it in gear and let the clutch out nothing happens. this is also the case with the PTO which makes me think it is the clutch stuck in the release position. Does anyone have an idea how to get it to engage. the transmission shifts into all gears but i am still able to roll the tractor and it doesn't turn the engine. any ideas are greatly appreciated.
