Thanks for the response maybe if I can give you a little more info about the tractor. The tractor was friends who said it ran when he parked it. the tractor rolls fine in neutral, if you put it in gear the tractor can still be pushed you can hear the gears in the tranny turn when rolling but it doesn't attempt to turn the motor. When we moved the tractor from the field initially we pushed the clutch in and the pedal didn't return on its own. after working the clutch pedal back and forth it will now return but only due to a secondary spring attached from the pedal to the frame, not because of the clutch spring. Any Ideas?
