A Cub should be fine, the Low Boy model maybe even better if you can find one. They are shorter, more manueverable. When set narrow they make me a little nervous as the engine is off to the left, seem unstable. You can set the wheels quite wide if you have any side hills to deal with though. And wheel weights would help. My folks have a cub, and it is always the right wheel that spins if you get into a low traction situation, that side is lighter than the left. An Farmall A would be the same I think, they are the Cub's big brother, about the same as a Allis Chalmers B. I would choose the B if you go with that size tractor. I think that cub, or low boy would be fine though and smaller too.
