The problem with an Allis "B", is it only has a 3 speed trans., and first gear is quite high. I sold mine and got a IH "A", and it's a huge improvement! It has a 4 speed trans., and better low end torque.
All the Cubs, like the Allis "G", or Massey Pony are under powered, (yes i have one) and that's where the IH "A" shines.
Personally, i don't like any of these to mow grass with, but if i was useing one, it would be the IH, or Farmall "A".
