Not "Over-Riding", and not "Clutch". -What I got was labeled "Over-run coupler". -What it does? In simplest definition, it keeps that heavy blade from being what determines your engine speed. Easiest way to visualize how that matters, is, with it installed, engage your bushhog, wind up the engine. then throttle down to an idle. That "clattering" noise you will hear is caused by the blade spinning faster than the PTO. Without the ORC in place, the blade is "pushing" the engine, causing at least un-expected behavior of the tractor, at worst, twisting the PTO inside, and damaging clutches and other internal parts. (But, you probably knew that.) I just wanted to tell you what ORC was defined as by the maker of my unit.
