This engine was used in the Massey Harris 30 as well as some welders and forklifts. I have heard that they are still being made and Napa UAP has parts. The one that was used in the tractors had a distributor but usually in those old welders a magneto was used.

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion.
