Mike, from my experience a w/FB mag on a VC, you might as well take the mag off the engine, send it to a rebuilder & have it ready, cause you're a gonna need it by the time you get the tractor running w/the rebuilt one you have. The re-built one will work about long enough to get the engine broke in & it'll have to be re-built, again. The comment about the mag being the weakest point is very well taken IMHO. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)
