A lot of our older vintage (1930's) equipment at work uses a type that is shaped kind of like a button. I think the proper name is Alemite fitting. They are nice in hard to reach spots because you can reach back and just slip it on from the side, you don't have to push it on like the more common zerks. The storekeeper isn't here today to ask, but I would bet McMaster-Carr would have them, if they don't, try Alemite company, I think they are the ones that make them.
