Plows wear out fast enough, I would _not_ take a grinder or sander to them! The old fashoned way was to polish them with a gunny sack & wood ashes. Many old timers made a wood scraper, as they didn't want to mark the bottom at all, even a light scratch with a metal scraper in the wrong direction was too much... It takes a couple acres before a plow starts working good. I assume you are getting one that's been 'stored' a while, and your biggest issue will be getting it to scour (shine up so the dirt flows). Hard to do on about 1/10 of an acre. Sandy ground does it pretty quickly tho. --->Paul
