I know this is not tractor related (I do own/operate 3 ag tractors), but I am at wits end with my power brakes on my '87 Mazda PU (150+K mls) and need some help. I know the expertise shown on these board is tremendous and I am hoping someone could be as so kind to offer some suggestions on a resolve for the problem. When its cold (generally below 38 degrees) and/or after sitting for a while in the cold, the power brakes don't work; it's like standing on a full brake pedal but with no real brake response. However, 5-8 minutes after the engine has been running, it feels like a valve or something opens; the engine smoothes out and slightly speeds up, the brake pedal softens and normal braking resumes. Has anyone had this problem before, and if so, what was the fix to the problem? Again, apologies for a none tractor related question, but I do need some help on this. Thanks for your indulgence.
