28 inch tire 24 years old. Has a split 4, maybe 6 long, parallel with the rim about 1 1/2 from the rim. Leaks off quickly as shown by soapy water. SLIME says it will only work in the tread area. Is there any patch for the split? Would have to go on the inside, seems like. It's tubeless so would putting in a tube work? Patch & tube? Tire looks good inflated but when flat shows a lot of small cracks tho no leaks from the small cracks. Hate to buy a new tire right now if I can get a year or 2 by some kind of fix.
