If you go down 6 posts or so someone posted about an engine knock on a Kubota. With a melted injection harness I would think that was from constant regen getting extremely hot from the extra fuel. Possibly damaged an injector. I would get it from the dealer and find a different shop. They are finding any reason to not warranty work. My question would be what was the diagnosis and regen issue? I would try an injector first before an engine. If it does need an engine is it worth it? Or can you sell it to someone else they can fix it you move on to another tractor? I would find an independent shop that can work on it and get another opinion.
