I'd find one running and save this one for parts. Cheaper in the end. not like that is a rare model to find several for sale. Might be different in different areas though. If you are determined to go through with this endeavor then pull the plugs and look in the cylinder with a bore scope ,drain the oil pull pan and look at what you have there. When putting pan back on don't worry about a gasket yet at this point. Don't worry about conversions of any kind yet. You may have a frozen busted head ,block or other detrimental things going on that you decide to change course. With the bottom checked out you can now if things look ok though setting outside that long I doubt. Let set with oil squirted in the cylinder a coupel tablespoons let it set for a week or so. IF the engine turns which I also doubt roll it over by hand slowly till it make a complete revolution then you can start looking at turning it over with the starter. After you put the new or old separated oil back in the oil pan. I do think you have a boat anchor in the engine department though.
