I'm not a White guy, and don't know what White had for wheel options for that tractor. But, .... I think I would stay with a factory wheel (or equivelant) for the tractor. Especially if I had to run around trying to find some sort of special hub to make something else work. Might as well put just a little bit more effort into that, and search for the right wheel.
I know sometimes a guy has to try and use what he's got, and I'd take that approach on trying to use the used tires themselves that you got and are of the same and correct size. But, I'd find the right wheel to put them on. Maybe sell your good IH rims to somebody else that needs those, and use that money to buy what's right for you, if money is an issue.
If it was duals that you were putting on, that'd probably be a different story. Just slap them on any old way you could get em on. But I wouldn't do that with an inside main wheel.
