My grandfather always called this the "John Deere running gear". So, I thought it was. But, when I recently pulled it out of the fence row and had it restored, I could not find an identification tag. Additionally, I cannot find a similar John Deere model on the internet. I know my mechanic has painted it green and yellow, but can someone identify the actual make and model? Even if it is not a John Deere? By the way, the tongue is wooden with a metal tip (not shown).
