I've got a 640 with positive ground 6 volt. I have the negative post of the coil going to the distributor and the positive to the ignition switch. Is that correct or not? My manual says it is but can't determine if it shows a positive ground or not. I cant get the tractor to fire when turning over but if I pull the plug I have spark. But with all plugs in it won't fire on gas or ether. And I've checked points and timing already.
