No I don't think they were designed with removing the roof in mind. I seem to recall the roof was pop-riveted to the rest of the cab structure. I don't know when the company started up, probably in The 1960's. They had built a new factory in northeast Regina in the early 1970's but I think they got into financial difficulty and went out of business in the late 70's. Their building was taken over by the provincial government's crown auto insurance company, SGI, and was used to dismantle and sell auto parts from totaled cars and trucks. In the early 80's I bought a salvage truck box there for my GMC half ton. Probably part of the reason for the demise of these cab companies was tractor manufacturers started selling their own much better-appointed cabs.
