Any Synthetic oil will run cooler than conventional oil. Its the nature of the beast. But all modern oils are formulated to withstand temperatures up to 250 degrees without breaking down. You start getting up around 275 degrees and then you will have real problems.
So the real question now becomes do you think a cooler running engine is a better running engine ??? Years ago that may have been true but not today with 200 degree thermostats. Engines are made to and need to run hotter to preform properly.
