The military 'multi-fuel engines', most commonly used in 2 1/2 ton trucks, could be fueled with a mixture of one quart of 30 weight motor oil per five gallons of gasoline or any grade of diesel fuel. I remember when there was a delay in getting these trucks. One of our large manufacturers was having a problem in the development of it. Some German scientist/engineers came over to help and the problems were solved in right short order.
