Lots of good advice here, maybe disconnect it to bleed off the pressure, and reconnect and turn on slowly. I have had this problem a couple of times in the 2o years we have been using the new style tanks. I have always been able to quickly correct the problem. 4 people just got badly burned in a fish house on a lake in MN, they had 3 tanks inside the house, something went wrong, propane is dangerous!
