I'm Stumped. I have a Mr Heater propane heater. I have the Mr Heater approved hose and filter to run it off a 20lb tank rather than the small green tanks.
I have run several 20 lb tanks through this heater with no problem. Tank ran out so I installed a new sealed exchange tank. Pilot light comes on but when you try to turn it on the pilot light goes off and it shuts down. I let the pilot light run for 10 minutes but it did the same thing.
Finally got fed up with it so I installed a differant sealed exchange tank. This tank worked as it should.
I have not tried to install the first tank again just to see if it will work. I can not for the life of me figure out why one tank will work and the other would not.
I guess my next step is to call the place that fills the tanks as the store where I got in is just a reseller.

My curiosity was up and I wanted to contact the owner. I wanted to see what he planned to do with the combine.
