No better feeling than to finish before the weather turns. Also, good to have a back up machine or two. I had a cylinder on the 970 roller harrow go from a very minor leak to a serious one while getting wheat ground ready. The old 1000 field cultivator has been sitting around not used so I robbed a cylinder to keep going. As it turned there was a cylinder in an auction last Saturday that specs out the same so that is going on the 1000. Dad does not like old unused equipment around but you never know when you might need it or a key component from it. I wish I could have back ups for the major pieces such as the 6620 combine or 8430 tractor. Heck, if I could afford it I would have several planting tools all with different features. Would like to have a 1560 drill. Someday, I guess.
