So what's a family farm. I'm one used to farm 700 acres, now only 160, my choice. We have family farms around here that farm as much as 25,000 acres, many with over 5000. They may or not be corporations, should they be penalized. Like it or not large for are here to stay and will get bigger. Small farmers will still be around, many subsidized by off farm income. Like my wife and I have always said, we work off farm to support the habit.
