Any land owner that doesn't develop their land and agrees not to for a certain number of years gets the same tax rate where I live.Not the same as getting a check from people's income tax anyway.The county did a study developed land with housing on it is a tax loser because of the county services it requires.do you also get a check from the Federal Gov't for your farming operation? That is direct welfare.
