Burnt Hydrogen is a major component of well water, the waste from Hydrogen fuel cells Water. There is an abundance of water on earth. Unburning it takes more energy than produced by its combustion due to the complex reactions needed to strip off the Hydrogen from the heavy Oxygen atom. Natural gas, and liquid petroleum, as well as coal have Hydrogen in a combustible state, BUT it is surrounded by carbon and the carbon is what is wrong with fossil fuels to begin with. So we need to make plenty of electricity where there is nice clean water using solar voltaics or wind/tide/geothermal. Reality is harsh. there may be too many horses, and not enough hay. Jim
