Thanks for the great info. I'm guessing that this newer pump I have been using is a 21 gpm because the middle section is twice as thick as the one it replaced. Both operated the loader fine, and about the same speed. So now I'm wondering if the control I just took out has been restricting the flow. Which might mean that putting a 25 GPM control on with the 21 GPM pump (assuming thats what it is) could cause an overacting FEL. But if it's too fast, I can replace the pump with a slower one (Prince makes a 14 GPM with a maximum 4000 PSI ) The control would be as accurate but I could extend the levers to make it easier
