I had my hearing tested at the V.A. yesterday because it's time for an update on my hearing aids. Got new ones ordered with the updates and improvements thy have now. I'v had my old ones for 5 years now. The new ones will be rechargeable and I will be able to answer and hang up calls on my phone by tapping one of the aids, so completely hands free. Also getting a box that will let me raise or lower the tv sound coming to me without actually changing the tv volume for everyone else. He said my hearing is about where it was 5 years ago so that's a good thing. He cleaned and checked my old ones and sent one off to get it fixed so I will have a back up pair if I need them. V.A. has been pretty darned good to this old man.
