Has anyone noticed that when paying for gas at a pump, and paying with a card for a pre set amount, that the pump is apt to stop pumping before the amount of gas you are supposed to get has gone through the hose? That is the gas has stopped and the digital read out for the dollar amount is still turning. I'm not talking 10 or 20 cents worth, I'm saying well over a dollar's worth of gas that you are being charged for but aren't getting. A way around it I figure is to pump your gas, stop when you want and go in and pay at the kiosk for what you pumped. I know pumps slow down for the last dollar or less but to have stopped pumping altoghether and the digital readout has a ways to go seems like a way to milk the unsuspecting and trusting public.
