First week of March three years ago we took a 737 to Florida, my first time in a big plane. On the way home we landed at Midway airport in Chicago after dark and the pilot was circling which seemed like forever and I was looking out the window trying to spot a runway and all I could see looked like street light grids every where. He finally dropped that plane like the bottom fell out of it, landed hard on one side and then laid on the brakes for what seemed like way too long, people were screaming and I was thinking we were going to run out of runway any second.
But they say any landing you can walk away from is a good landing. I was glad to find the car in the parking lot and go home.
