Had to get two more dryer batches done so I had a semi load to sell, need to pay some bills. But we had 5" of rain then a foot of snow over two snows. The snow is mostly melted now, but for what ever reason snow makes the ground wetter. Was not good conditions to say the least.
As usual in the fall here, the real low places where the corn drowned out and water sits, the base is solid. It's half way up the hill where the ground gets soft and you sink. Luckily I got out what I needed and the weather is supposed to be nice all week, so hopefully next weekend I can get the rest done without the mud. Would sure be best if I can get it fall plowed before it freezes too. We usually freeze up by thanks giving here.
