This past weekend I had the pleasure of replacing the engine to transmission drive belt on our JD 185 mower. It was a 3 hour job. Luckily there was a YouTube video a guy made showing lift the front end and grind back part of the frame next to the PTO assembly so that doesn’t need to be removed. All the screws are metric. That drives me crazy as I can’t size them without test fitting 2-3 sockets almost every time. The entire task would have been close to impossible for the average homeowner. Now, to fix the big hole in the mowing deck. Wonderful. At least my supervisor approves.
